Email that does the filing.
A whole inbox
The building's mail in a full inbox: threaded conversations, search, unread, archive, junk, snooze, pins, categories and highlights, each person keeping their own. An overview shows the busiest senders and what has waited longest.
A building email address
A site, or each building, can get its own address. Your strata manager adds it to the committee list, and mail sent to it is filed in UnitBuddy without forwarding.
Matters, not loose threads
Every new email conversation opens a matter: the floor-covering application, the leak in 12, the weekly report. Replies land inside it, and the matter rises when one arrives.
Invoices read from attachments
Invoices attached to an email, or dropped into Intake, are read for the number, ABN, GST and bank details, then wait in Intake for a person to confirm. New bank details for a vendor are flagged in Intake before it's filed.
Committee-only by default
Incoming mail is visible to the committee and building manager. A committee member can make a matter Committee only, keeping it from the building manager too.
Bring in your history
Forward years of past emails to the building's address, and UnitBuddy files each one and reads any invoices attached. Nothing gets lost, and your building's records survive every committee and management change.
Records that keep themselves
Each email opens its own record. Decisions and committee votes are recorded on it with who and when, and the quotes, invoices and reports that belong to it are stored together for easy reference.
Also in Version 3
Less admin, shared out
The committee and building manager work one Intake queue, each item showing who is on it, so no one person carries the admin.
Unit entitlement
Each owner sees an estimate of their share of the quarter's costs, from their lot's entitlement.
Paperwork intake
Drop in a PDF or photo of an invoice, quote or document. GST fills in from the total, and before you file it you are told where it will go, what it is charged to and who will see it.
Facility pages
Add the lift, the pumps or the fire panel, and each gets a page with its service history, documents and certificates.
A knowledge base
Facts the committee writes once, shown on every matching invoice, job and facility.
Tenants raise jobs
Tenants report problems in their own unit, and the building's emergency contacts are one tap to call.
Documents you can write in
A rich text editor for by-laws, minutes and procedures, with who can see it set per document.
On your phone
Add UnitBuddy to your phone's home screen. Windows and macOS apps are coming.
A link for everything
Every area, list and record has its own address, so you can send someone straight to it.
Notices that reach the inbox
Notices land in each resident's UnitBuddy inbox, and every member gets an in-app welcome for their role.
Your colours
Dark mode that follows your device, and an app colour you choose for yourself.
